JOB SUMMARYThis position develops and manages a portfolio of customers in business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) sales within a specific geographical area.RESPONSIBILITIES• Searches and develops potential clients to meet monthly sales targets.• Makes contact by telephone or email to get initial customer information and schedules appointments.• Analyzes customer needs, prepares bids, and presents UPS services.• Focuses on retaining and penetrating active clients in portfolio.• Completes maintenance, problem resolution, and sales management of client portfolio.• Monitors sales through the drafting and updating of reports and internal systems.QUALIFICATIONSRequirements:• Meets local age and operations requirements to operate a vehicle• Communication skills• Willingness and availability to travel and provide own vehicle for business travel.• Microsoft Office skills• Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per weekPreferences:• Bachelor's degree or international equivalent• Preference given to candidates that live within 30 minutes of Uniondale, NYANNUAL HIRING RANGE$58,860 – $101,760Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.Note: For union-represented postings, wage rates and ranges are governed by applicable collective bargaining agreement provisions.
