Position Summary You will promote the temperature controls division of the Building Automation/Temperature Controls business unit, generating leads and turning those leads into sales success. You will estimate, quote, negotiate, and sell temperature control jobs and change orders on negotiated, design build, and plan and specification jobs in a timely, profitable, and responsive manner. LONG’s compensation and commission structure is highly competitive and offers generous incentives for performance. In addition, a relocation package may be offered. Pay Range: $65,000 - $90,000 Base, Plus Commission Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Insurance, 401k with match, and PTO. Responsibilities

Under supervision, manage and grow assigned territory or group of accounts consisting of building owners, end-users, engineers, and contractors. May also focus on prospecting directly to new end-usersHelps ensure assigned contractors are providing appropriate opportunities to LONG Building Automation/Temperature ControlsAchieve booking and gross margin goals. General annual booking volume guideline is: $2-4MM. Customer relationships at this level are primarily operational and transaction-orientedDevelop and implement plans to take advantage of all sales opportunities for assigned customers or territory.Effectively perform needs assessments and develop sales proposals, estimates, specifications and presentationsWork with operations, finance, legal, and other inside and outside resources as needed to obtain the saleFollow through on sold projects to ensure satisfactory completion. Ensure a smooth sales-to-operations turnover and monitor progressAssist in resolving installation, collections and other customer satisfaction issues as neededAssist customers and potential customers with problems involving the use of company products and services and recommend suitable resolutions accordinglyPrepare accurate and thorough sales activity reports, forecast reports, and expense trackingParticipate in civic and professional organizations, and sales department meetings, workshops and seminars. Continue to pursue in-depth product and service knowledge and acquire deeper selling, technical and financial skills.Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or similar field2+ years of sales experienceRequired Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Moderate related technical and financial expertiseAn aptitude to learn and competently use company estimating toolsGain an understanding of value engineering, related contractual concepts, and financial acumenExcellent customer service and computer skillsAbility to interact with all levels of personnel, including upper managementAbility to handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyWillingness to accept responsibility and accountabilityAttention to detailPreferred Qualifications & Experience
