Compensation : $49.79 - $49.79 Hourly Client Job Ref ID : ASC-10618 |AH-HHC-88958 Start Date : 10/08/2023 End Date : 01/13/2024 Department: Women's Health Unit Shift Timing: Early Morning 06:30 - 19:00 HoursRoles & Responsibilities Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate. Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. Minimum Qualifications This department is a 26 bed unit, providing post-op surgical care to both adults and children. This unit does have telemetry capability. Nurse to patient ratio is 1:4-6. The unit is also supported by PCTs and a Healthcare unit coordinator. Utilization of virtual sitter monitoring is available as well as monitor techs to monitor those on telemetry. Both adult and pediatric experience is preferred. If no pediatric experience, but willing to learn, those candidates will be considered. PALS QUALIFICATIONS BLS, PALS and ACLS National Institutes of Health (NIH) Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) Certification Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. The ability to stand for extended periods. Strong technical skills. Knowledge of medical terminology Passionate about patient care Requires a minimum of two years of current RN Women's Health Med/Surg experience. Graduate from a fully accredited RN program Active unencumbered RN Oklahoma state license One year of Epic experience Requirements COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster. SKILLS/ ABILITIES/ COMPETENCIES REQUIRED: Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills. Participates in relevant continuing education programs. Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients. Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise. A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital. Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
