Summary: To be responsible for maintaining all common areas in a clean and attractive condition, turning apartments between residents, and other related duties as defined by the Business Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Cleaning the Leasing Center, Recreation Building, pool area, exercise facility, restrooms, and jacuzzi area. Including trash removal, vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning of exterior and interior windows, entryways, and stairwells, and removing leaves, debris, and cobwebs from corners and recesses of each building.

Cleaning laundry rooms, including trash removal, sweeping, mopping, wiping down machines and other surfaces, and interiors and exteriors of windows.

Patrol of grounds each morning for removal of litter.

Sweeping and/or blowing off all sidewalks and parking areas, including dumpster areasmoving garbage bins to garbage pickup area on designated days.

Exterior painting, exterior repair, pool, and spa maintenance.

Interior apartment cleaning and interior apartment painting to turn units for new move-ins.

Maintain cleanliness of community to LPR standards.

Successfully participate in the safety training program.

Ability to work with people of all ethnic and religious backgrounds and understand resident problems.

Means of reliable transportation to and from work by the weekly schedule.

Must be reliable and bondable.

Education/Experience: General cleaning knowledge.

Language Ability: Ability to read and interpret documents such as invoices, specification sheets, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Math Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Physical Demands: The physical demands described here must be met by an employee to perform the essential functions of this job successfully. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to perform physical labor and to talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to lift up to 50 pounds. The vision requirements include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Benefits: Legacy Partners provides ten paid holidays each calendar year, paid jury duty absence, and up to five days of paid bereavement leave. Legacy Partners also provides paid sick leave and vacation benefits. All team members accrue sick time at a rate of 1 hour for every 30 hours of work, capped at 120 hours. Vacation time is accrued at the rate of 0.0385 hours for every hour worked up to 80 hours worked each pay period, capped at 120 hours during the first five years of employment. Employees with a regular work schedule of 30+ hours per week are eligible for group medical, dental, vision, long-term disability, group life, and accidental death and dismemberment insurance. Employees enrolled for Medical Insurance will also have the option to enroll in a health savings account and receive an employer match. Employees may enroll in the company's retirement plan (401k) following 90 days of employment and receive an employer match. Employees are also eligible for anniversary and sail-away. Other Compensation: Eligible for Quarterly bonuses.
