DescriptionAs the

Senior Manager of Supply Chain Planning , you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the supply chain planning and purchasing operations across multiple business units in the organization. Your primary focus will be on developing and implementing strategic initiatives to optimize supply chain processes, enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve supply chain performance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives and drive continuous improvement across the supply chain.Reports To:

VP of Supply ChainEssential FunctionsStrategic Planning: Develop and execute supply chain strategies across the Legendary Companies businesses that are aligned with business goals and objectives. Lead the development of long-term plans for optimizing the supply chain network, including inventory management, supply planning & purchasing, SIOP process ownership, demand forecasting, and logistics.Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within the supply chain. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to improve cost efficiencies, reduce lead times, and enhance overall supply chain productivity.Inventory Management: Develop and implement inventory management strategies to minimize stockouts, excess inventory, and improve cash flow.Supplier Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors. Assist Sourcing counterparts with contracts implementation, pricing agreements, and service level agreements to optimize supply chain costs and ensure quality and reliability of supply.SIOP Process Stakeholder: Lead continuous improvement of SIOP process including; defining and monitoring key performance indicators and metrics, identifying actions and projects to address risk mitigation, opportunity capitalization and areas for improvement, and harmonization of processes across different business unitsCross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including operations, sourcing, sales, marketing, and finance, to ensure alignment and coordination across the supply chain. Collaborate on cross-functional initiatives to drive continuous improvement and achieve business objectives.Performance Monitoring and KPIs: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure supply chain performance. Monitor performance against targets, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed to ensure the achievement of business goals.Demand Forecasting: Assist the demand forecasting process to accurately predict customer demand and optimize inventory levels. Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance teams to incorporate market trends, sales forecasts, and promotional activities into demand plans.Talent Development: Develop a high-performing supply chain planning team. Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning, growth, and improvement.Risk Management: Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including disruptions in supply, demand fluctuations, geopolitical factors, and regulatory changes. Develop contingency plans and resilience strategies to ensure business continuity and minimize the impact of disruptions.

:Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations management, business administration, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA, MS) preferred.5+ years in supply chain planning, logistics, and purchasing, with a track record of success in leadership roles. Experience in high mix, low volume planning environment preferredAPICS CPIM or CSCP, preferredProven ability to develop and execute supply chain strategies that drive operational excellence, improve efficiency, and deliver measurable results.Strong analytical skills and experience with building supply chain planning tools, including ERP/MRP systems, Excel, PowerBI and Tableau, etc.Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams.Strong business acumen and understanding of market dynamics, industry trends, and competitive landscape.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
