Medical, dental, vision, and 401k, among other benefits are available without a waiting period and offered at a low cost to you.Summary:Performs supply chain and logistics functions such as material procurement, production planning, inventory control, outsourcing, vendor selection and distribution. Creates integrated processes among internal functions (e.g., operations, purchasing and logistics) and outside suppliers. Responsibilities are within the supply chain and logistics function as a generalist or in a combination of disciplines.Major Position Responsibilities:Directs overall supply chain operations, including purchasing, inventory, selection of vendors, and distribution of finished goodsDevelops and implements strategies to ensure that critical processes run effectively and achieve organizational goals and performance KPIsOversees and advises on negotiation strategies with vendors to obtain optimal contracts and pricingProvides guidance and strategic direction on analytics used to evaluate past performance and trends to forecast inventory and distribution requirementsLeads and directs the work of other employees and has responsibility for personnel actions including hiring, performance management, and termination with concurrence from HR and General ManagersBasic Qualifications:Required Qualifications:Associate's DegreeOR equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience12-15 years’ experience in a relevant functionPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Business or Supply Chain ManagementExperience within the defense industryWorking knowledge of munitions: associated platforms, strategic and tactical systems, and military munitions/platform interface requirementsKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:Possesses and applies a broad knowledge of concepts, principles, practices and procedures of specialization to the completion of difficult assignmentsStrong computer skills, administrative data control, scheduling and team interfaceMust be able to manage quickly changing priorities while meeting deadlinesStrong written, digital and verbal communication skills in both an individual and team environmentLooks for ways to improve and promote qualityMust be able to possess strong, planning, execution and multitasking skills and have demonstrated ability to reprioritize on the flyWorks within the highest level of integrity, ethics and safetyDecisions are guided by policy, procedures and business planConsistent exercise of discretion and judgmentPerformance MetricsStrategic PlanningOther Requirements:Proficiency with MS Office 365 toolsDistribution ManagementInventory ManagementSupply Chain ManagementSupply Chain OptimizationTransportation ManagementWillingness and ability to travel up to 25-50% of time, including possible international travelThe above statements describe the general nature and level of work only.
