National Award-Winning Studio & Winner of Design Firm of the Year is actively seeking a Senior InteriorDesigner to join their Los Angeles, San Diego, or Rancho Cucamonga office. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
This role offers a stimulating environment where you will contribute your expertise in designing educational, sports, healthcare, or large-scale corporate facilities. As a pivotal member of the team, you will be responsible for creating interior design concepts and guiding their development across all design phases. The ideal candidate is not only passionate about design but also possesses excellent interpersonal skills, a tenacious spirit, and a commitment to exceptional client service.
Lead all project phases from inception to completion, contributing to the design and documentation of interior spaces. Generate innovative design concepts and shepherd them through each stage of development. Take charge of interior finish material selections, specifications, and the production of finish material boards. Apply expertise in space planning, building codes, and mechanical systems. Produce comprehensive construction documentation, oversee construction administration, and review submittals. Here's What You'll Need:
At least 7 years of professional experience. Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture from a CIDA-accredited institution. Proven proficiency in the Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment (FF&E) process. Strong communication skills, including the ability to effectively present design concepts to clients. Proficiency in software such as Revit with Enscape or Sketchup with Lumion, Adobe Photoshop & InDesign, Bluebeam Revu, and Office 365. Here's How You'll Stand Out:
NCIDQ Interior Designer certification, registered in the State of Texas or California is advantageous. Prior experience in Higher Education, K-12, Sports, Healthcare, and Corporate design is highly desirable. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adept at juggling multiple projects and deadlines with diplomacy. Commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
