OverviewAs the Director of Product Management, you will be at the forefront of our mission to empower SMBs worldwide. This role involves a blend of strategic vision and practical execution, focusing on developing and enhancing a platform that offers comprehensive tools for businesses to operate and scale effectively. Your leadership will be instrumental in managing cross-functional teams, external vendors, and the entire product lifecycle, from conceptualization to market launch.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute a customer-centric product strategy that aligns with our mission to support SMBs globallyCollaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including engineering, design, marketing, legal, and other teams, to deliver products that meet our high standards of innovation and usabilityManage relationships with third-party providers/technology vendors, ensuring seamless integration and value add to our platformDrive the go-to-market strategy for new features and products, including market analysis, positioning, and launch planningFoster a data-driven culture, utilizing analytics to inform product decisions and improve customer experiencesInitially support the VP in team management and development, with the potential to build and lead your own product management team as the company grows
Skills/Abilities/ExperienceA minimum of 8 years of experience in product management, with a significant portion in the tech or SaaS industry, ideally serving SMBsProven ability to understand and empathize with customer needs, backed by a strong track record of developing customer-centric productsExperience managing third-party vendors and technology partners, with a knack for negotiating and maintaining productive partnershipsDemonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environmentStrong analytical skills, with a penchant for data-driven decision-making and a deep understanding of market dynamics and customer insightsExceptional communication skills, capable of inspiring teams, engaging stakeholders, and articulating product visions and strategies effectivelyEntrepreneurial mindset, with the agility to adapt to changing priorities and the resilience to overcome challenges

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
