Come see for yourself.In this role as our Radiologic Technologist Trainee, you will observe and learn how to produce diagnostic images using a variety of radiographic equipment, including R/F suites, general radiographic systems, portable systems, C-arm fluoroscopy and digital radiography systems. You will be trained to select the appropriate technical factors for optimal results and use proper radiation protection and shielding as prescribed in protocols. Trainees will gain competency in performing exams and procedures on neonates, infants, children, adults and geriatric patients. You will be responsible for daily quality assurance, maintaining quality control standards, following research protocols and inspecting imaging devices for any failures, reporting them to the manager promptly. Lastly, trainees will review requisitions with radiologists to assess the appropriateness of exams and perform any other duties as assigned.This posting is for 2 openingsSalary Range:$38.05 HourlyQualifications

ARRT certification - requiredCRT license - requiredFluoroscopic permit - requiredBCLS certificate from American Heart Association or American Red Cross - requiredJCERT approved Radiologic Technologist Program graduateAbility to accept and carry out oral and written instructions accuratelyExcellent interpersonal skills effectively and diplomatically with patients, visitors, hospital staff, physicians, and other outside offices both in person and over the phoneKnowledge of medical terminology, with ability to distinguish between types of procedures within the assigned department(s) and medical diagnosesAbility to adapt to advancement and changing technologyAbility to identify and recognize contraindications for exams.
