Ark transforms Defense Acquisition into a strategic advantage for the United States.Job DescriptionWe are seeking highly motivated Senior Business Analysts to perform quantitative and qualitative analyses on problems of importance to U.S. national security. These problems include, for example, assessing risk within the Defense Industrial Base, isolating inefficiencies in business operations, and quantifying how investments drive performance outcomes and align with strategic aims. Senior Business Analysts are responsible for communicating data-driven insights to executives in the national security community using data visualization, written papers, and briefings. Senior Business Analysts will work collaboratively with Engagement Managers to structure analysis and oversee the work of Business Analysts and Data Analysts in order to provide actionable data-driven solutions.In order to do this job well, you must be analytical, curious, and driven to make an impact. Senior Business Analysts at Govini have a firm understanding of how to use data to solve complex problems related to national security acquisition, innovation, and supply chain risk assessments. You have a business mindset and understand defense acquisition processes and the importance of effective and efficient program management. You have a professional acumen that allows you to lead conversations with top DoD and government agency officials. You know how to structure analysis to answer hard problems, and you know how to engage in constructive dialogue to find the best path forward.This role is a full-time position located out of our office in Arlington, VA. This role may require up to 25% travel.Scope of Responsibilities

Work with national security professionals to answer their critical business questions.Manage collaborative cross-functional teams of analysts to deliver high-quality analysis and drive improvements to Govini’s product offerings.Translate qualitative and quantitative analysis to objective and accurate views of business operations, producing valuable insights for customers and recommendations to improve performance.Present data-driven findings in a concise and compelling manner to executives and government officials.Demonstrate subject matter expertise in key knowledge areas such as OSINT investigative analysis, Supply Chain Risk Management including IT-related SCRM (ICT SCRM), industrial base, manufacturing, & production areas, technology scouting and technology application, defense acquisitions and program management, government procurement, supplier assurance, federal contracting, and/or Planning, Programming, Budget, and Execution (PPBE).Qualifications

U.S. Citizenship is required.Required Skills:

Master’s in Business Administration, Business Analytics, Economics, or other relevant fields, or 5+ years of equivalent experience.Strong business acumen, excellent professional demeanor with a willingness to work outside of your comfort zone in a fast-paced environment without hesitation.Demonstrated ability to breakdown complex business problems into relevant data-driven performance metrics.Excellent oral and written communication skills, experience presenting complex analysis to non-technical stakeholders and extracting the ‘so-what’ from the data.Referenceable history of exceptional performance in conducting high-quality analysis.Ability to manage multiple work-streams and projects, learn quickly, and work independently with little supervision.Desired Skills:

Current possession of a U.S. security clearance, or the ability to obtain one with our sponsorship.Experience in or exposure to the nuances of a startup or other entrepreneurial environment.Familiarity with Python or R and familiarity with SQL.We firmly believe that past performance is the best indicator of future performance.
