Through a strategic expansion in contracts-driven funding, The San Diego LGBT Community Center has experienced exponential growth in the last five years. As such, we are looking for a highly disciplined and capable leader to build upon the organization’s success in meeting the current needs and responding to the emerging needs of San Diego’s LGBTQ+ community.The Vice President of Accounting will be highly skilled in change management and will bring a track record of managing accounting practices in high-growth and complex organizations with an eye on risk management and compliance. This leader will bring a high degree of emotional intelligence and the ability to engage and work collaboratively and effectively with senior leaders, staff, Board, funders, program leaders, and external partners.Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience. The compensation for this position begins at $160,000; based on experience and ability to have broad impact early, the salary range could be up to $175,000.
