Spacecraft represent the most pressing unmet need across the entire aerospace industry. As launch costs decrease, more and more companies and governments are launching increasingly large numbers of smaller satellites. For the first time in history, this increase in demand is driving a massive need for spacecraft platforms, known as satellite buses. Satellite buses carry customers’ payloads and are delivered to space on launch vehicles.Apex manufactures satellite buses at scale using a combination of disruptive software, vertical integration, and hardware that is designed for manufacturing. Our satellite buses are truly productized to enable a wide set of missions, ranging from earth observation to communications and more, that advance our future as a society.Apex's growing Talent Acquisition team is looking for a Technical Recruiter to help shape, build, and scale our organization. You will join our high-performing recruiting team and manage a diverse set of roles which could include positions within artificial intelligence, software, robotics, or vehicle engineering. You will work closely with hiring managers and be given ownership of the entire recruiting process including qualifying requirements, sourcing, recruiting, and closing world-class engineering talent.This position requires an uncommon balance of teamwork, dedication, and interpersonal skills. You will be expected to act as an ambassador of the brand and have the ability to deliver results in a fast-paced work environment. Most importantly, you must have a genuine passion for Apex’s mission.Responsibilities:

Develop and implement talent acquisition strategies to identify, attract, and hire high-quality candidates for engineering and other rolesOwn the full-cycle recruiting process with an emphasis on strong hiring manager partnership and effective candidate advocacySource candidates, screen resumes, and evaluate candidates to determine fitFacilitate interview and hiring decision-making processes with interview panelists, hiring managers, and company leadershipManage offer process, partnering with hiring managers and leadershipContinuously and independently seek new ways to improve both the candidate experience and recruiting processManage application and interview data, ensuring all communications and information are accurately tracked within our systemsAssist in developing onboarding programs and conducting new hire orientationsParticipate in and support other HR projects and initiatives as requiredRequirements:

U.S. Persons status is required as this position needs to access export-controlled dataProven experience as a recruiter, preferably within the aerospace or engineering industryStrong knowledge of aerospace industry trends, engineering roles, and technical skill setsAbility to evaluate technical aptitude and screen candidates for both technical and behavioral fitConsultative and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate across all levels of the organizationProficiency sourcing with LinkedIn as well as alternative techniquesStrong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyPassion for aerospace and a desire to contribute to the advancement of space explorationBenefits:Apex believes in creating a work environment that you look forward to embracing every day.
