is looking for a
Tax Manager
to help expand their team.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage and coordinate tax compliance and advisory work for clients.
Address key client issues in domestic federal, international, and state and local taxation, focusing on implementing strategies that align with the client's
objectives
.
Oversee tax compliance accounts, including the ability to review extensive securities analysis, and make
appropriate tax
adjustments, and tax returns.
Oversee the preparation and filing
of tax
returns, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
Coordinate with external tax advisors and auditors to support tax compliance and requirements.
Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations and assess their impact.
Support the development and implementation of tax-related policies, procedures, and controls to ensure effective tax risk management.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
, Finance, or related field.
CPA
required
.
Minimum of 8 years of related work experience
.
Familiarity with the financial services industry gained through direct involvement.
Excellent managerial, leadership, organizational, and verbal/communication skills.
Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
