Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Tax Manager to join their

dynamic finance team. This is a hybrid role, excellent work/life balance working with a fantastic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax accounting, ASC 740, corporate income tax, indirect tax, and international tax. If you do not have exposure to International Tax, this can be taught.

Key Responsibilities:

Tax Accounting and ASC 740 Compliance:

Manage the preparation and review of ASC 740 tax provisions, including current and deferred tax calculations.

Oversee the preparation and submission of quarterly and annual tax provision calculations.

Ensure accurate and timely reporting of tax balances and disclosures in financial statements.

Coordinate with external auditors for tax provision audits and address audit queries.

Corporate Income Tax:

Prepare and review corporate income tax returns and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws.

Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on corporate tax positions.

Develop and implement strategies to optimize corporate tax liabilities and improve tax efficiency.

Indirect Tax:

Oversee the preparation and filing of indirect tax returns, including sales and use tax, VAT, and other transactional taxes.

Ensure compliance with indirect tax regulations and manage tax audits related to indirect taxes.

Develop and implement procedures to minimize indirect tax risks and ensure accurate reporting.

International Tax:

Prepare supporting workpapers and manage the foreign bank account compliance (FBAR) process.

Prepare complete and accurate templates and supporting workpapers to prepare annual US Form 1099 and foreign information returns as required

Prepare supporting workpapers and collaborate with external advisors to ensure accurate and timely filed indirect tax returns including but not limited to any applicable value added taxes (“VAT”), goods & services taxes (“GST”), relevant contracts tax (“RCT”).
