Job Summary:VP Management, a successful and growing property management company, is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as the General Manager in Charleston, WV. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations and success of the company in the Charleston area. This is a full-time, salary position with a competitive compensation and benefits package.
Compensation & Benefits:Annual salary range of $50,000 to $70,000Biweekly pay scheduleComprehensive benefits package, including health insurance and paid time off.
Responsibilities:Oversee all day-to-day operations of the company in Charleston, WVDevelop and implement strategies to achieve company goals and objectivesManage and mentor a team of employees, including hiring, training, and performance evaluationsMonitor and maintain property budgets, ensuring financial goals are metEnsure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulationsMaintain positive relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholdersCollaborate with other General Managers to share best practices and streamline processesIdentify potential areas for growth and make recommendations to upper managementRegularly communicate with upper management to provide updates on operations, challenges, and successes
Requirements:Bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related fieldExperience in property management or a related industryStrong leadership and management skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesProven track record of meeting financial goals and managing budgetsFamiliarity with property management software and technologyKnowledge of federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to property managementMust be detail-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work independently and collaborate with a teamMust be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as needed
