Job Overview

As an Assurance Intern, you would become an integral member of our Assurance practice, interacting with all members of the team, and attending all office meetings and functions. You would be applying your education along with in-house training to a variety of on-the-job experiences while being introduced to specific audit and accounting software programs and procedures.

Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssist with audit testingPrepare compilation, review, audit, and other assurance reports and financial statementsPrepare various financial statement disclosures and supplemental schedulesPrepare depreciation schedulesWorkpaper preparation for various engagements and testingOther assurance and department assistance as neededQualifications

Education/Licensing

Enrolled in Bachelor's or Master's Degree program in Accounting, or other relevant field, from an accredited university requiredActively pursuing necessary education credits to become a CPAExperience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Strong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to multi-task and manage deadlinesStrong verbal and written communication skillsTeamwork oriented with a willingness to grow, a passion for living, and desire to go above and beyondSoftware

Microsoft Office Suite experience
