Job Overview

As a Tax Senior Associate, you would be applying your education and foundational experience to support the client service team while building the additional skills and industry knowledge needed to move your career to the next level.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Gather information and work within tax software to prepare returns for reviewReview Associate and Intern level to work to ensure compliance with professional standardsMentor and train Associate and Intern level staffMaintain personal networks, and participate in civic, charitable, and professional organizationsQualifications

Education/Licensing

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, or other relevant field, from an accredited university requiredActive pursuit of CPA certification requiredMaster's Degree in Tax or Accounting preferredExperience, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

2+ years of public accounting experience in a tax environmentAbility to prepare basic tax returnsAbility to effectively train new Associates and InternsStrong attention to detail, analytical skills and ability to think criticallyAbility to multi-task, manage deadlines and effectively delegate work when appropriateStrong verbal and written communication skillsClient service mentalityTeamwork oriented with a willingness to grow, a passion for living, and desire to go above and beyondSoftware

Microsoft Office Suite experienceKnowledge of accounting and tax software is required, UltraTax and GoFileRoom software preferred
