Job DetailsJob LocationOcnwc - Oconomowoc, WIPosition TypeFull TimeJob Shift1st ShiftDescriptionJOB SUMMARY: Uses prescribed methods to work on defined projects under the direction of more experienced engineers.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Applies established methodologies and engineering principles, such as mechanics, metallurgy, thermodynamics, statistics, and physics, to perform specific and defined portions of engineering projects within cost, quality, delivery, and safety constraints.Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. Conducts testing to evaluate process effectiveness.Updates routings, sketches, and work instructions to account for process changes, as directed.Prepares initial manufacturing sketches and routings per customer specifications and Company standards.Documents clear and technically accurate explanations for all project and process changes.Responds to internal customers in a timely manner and supports all efforts to ensure products meet customer requirements.As directed, dispositions product and any rework that may result.Clearly communicates technical information and answers standard questions.Utilizes time management and organizational skills to ensure assigned tasks are completed on time.Proceeds under direct supervision and from detailed instructions.Maintains or exceeds production standards through efficient organization and planning.Demonstrates thorough knowledge of and conformity with Ace Precision Quality System work instruction requirements that govern Engineering operations.Follows and complies with safety policies and procedures.Accurately completes all required documentation. Meets attendance policy requirements.Contributes to team effort by assisting in areas as needed.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. A strong knowledge of Microsoft Office is necessary. Must understand lean and/or Six Sigma methodologies and be able to apply statistical techniques in a manufacturing environment. LANGUAGE SKILLS:Ability to read English and understand complex sketches, routings, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to communicate effectively with employees and other Company stakeholders. Must possess excellent writing skills.
