Position Overview:The Product Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining multiple product suites. The Product Manager works closely with the IT department, Marketing, Sales and Operations to identify new opportunities for new product and/or enhancements to current product offerings, driving the process from concept through design and development to implementation. The Product Manager will produce clear product plans, product roadmaps, business requirements, and prioritize customer identified features, and involve stakeholders in the process. The Product Manager shall deal with changing priorities to meet the needs of the business.The ideal candidate is a creative thinker, with strong writing, analytic and project management skills. Successful candidates must have a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers to ensure timely release of products.Major Activities:Take a major role in co-creating and defining product vision, strategy, and objectives; Develop product roadmap and assess new business opportunitiesBuild Business Case reviews for new products or functionality which may include return on investment analysisSuccessfully release new products and enhancements.Continually evaluate and improve product offers and processes to support products based on sales needs and customer requestsServe as a point person for your initiatives, aligning key internal & external stakeholders development and ensure the end results reflect business intentions and meet the strategic needs of the organizationCollaborate with Marketing to create collateral materials and with Reporting to create impactful reports that highlight the product’s impact to our customers.Write great epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria for the technical teams to execute against; be able to understand and evaluate technical options that IT presentsDevelop, prioritize and manage product backlogs, in partnership with engineeringAct as the Product Owner in an agile SCRUM environmentDrive continuous process improvement by leading the development, implementation, and maintenance of standardized tools, templates, and processes across the enterprise.Stay on top of all relevant health care and consumer technology trends, competitors, and market offerings; identify product gaps, and provide a clear understanding of competitive products.Establish and maintain a professional relationship with various vendorsMentor junior Product Managers with some supportRequired Experience and Characteristics:At least 5+ years’ experience in healthcare, preferably in a healthcare and B2B2C market.Demonstrated ability to drive technically sophisticated projectsAdept at working with cross-functional teamsStrong verbal and written communication skills and aptitude for distilling complex technical processes for business audiencesPassionate about healthcare and making it easy for consumers to interact with the healthcare system.Extremely organized and analytical, with relentless attention to detail.Proven ability to multi-task and finish projects accurately and on time.Able to work with minimum supervision and capable of self-checking for completeness and accuracy of work produced.Self-motivated, creative, independent thinker.Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite to include Visio, Excel, Access, Word, Powerpoint, etc…Experience working with clients on product development and implementationExperience defining and measuring engagement metricsExperience with scrum and agile software development processes and writing detail user stories and epics.
