About the role
The Business Improvement Lead designs, develops and implements improvements to achieve operational excellence for Regulatory Services (RS) under the supervision of the Business Improvement Manager.
This role delivers work required to optimize business performance through the design of effective business processes, improvements in information systems, platforms, information management, practices, procedures, and organization changes.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Business Improvement Manager(s) to define the approach needed to achieve strategic and operational goals on improvement projects.Lead and facilitate continuous improvement projects/programmes in support of strategic and operational goals.Hold a broad knowledge of RS processes, procedures, systems and associated regulatory requirements to allow for identification of and communication with subject matter experts (SMEs).Act as guide and support for subject matter experts to aid in the design and development of products, systems, and solutions with particular emphasis on the analysis of stakeholder business needs to identify appropriate test scenarios designed to validate end user testing and uncover issues prior to implementation.Perform triage, troubleshooting and analysis of issues and failures reported by team members during UATs and outside UATs, to determine if the issue is a defect, enhancement, or user-error with an understanding of potential and or actual Non-Conformances and their impact; and the ability to react with agility and appropriate urgency, identifying potential immediate actions, performing root cause analysis, and proposing corrective actions.Coordinate and facilitate the effective communication pathways with cross-functional teams including Business Improvement Analysts, Process Engineers, IT Business Analysts, and Project Managers in improvement delivery and with associated SMEs.To be successful in the role, you will have:
BSc degree in discipline relevant to engineering business administration, process management, manufacture, or related field.Experience in the application of quality management systemsPassion for Continuous ImprovementAbility to communicate with all levels within the organizationPreferable minimum 3 years of experience in a BSI RS operational rolePreferable extensive Knowledge of BSI RS Systems and Processes
