About The Role

The Identity team is looking for a Lead Software Engineer that will play a key role in the development of new software products and features with a keen eye for detail. You will have the opportunity to work side by side with other members of the engineering team (other Software Engineers, Test Engineers, and SREs) and members from UX and Product Management to build the best-in-class products in the market.

In support of our culture, we have adopted a hybrid working model of 3 days per week in the office and the rest of the week from home. The UKG office that this position is located in is Weston, FL.

Duties And Responsibilities

Produce high quality, reliabletest automation designsandimplementationthatrarely needsreworkCommunicate with team members to clarify requirements and overcome obstacles to meet the team goalsDive and troubleshoot complex implementations and orchestrationsSupport internal customers in the adoption, use, andtroubleshootingof ourservicesWork with other team members to evaluate frameworks, services and applications that support our initiativesParticipate in standups, architecture reviews and planning meetingsProvide troubleshooting and root cause analysis for production issues that are escalated to the engineering teamFollowdevelopmentand deploymentprocessesto deliver consistent value to ourcustomersDocument internal and externalinformation for use by the team and customersManage ambiguity and raise issues and impediments whenblockedShare learnings with the broadergroup

Qualifications

About you:

Basic Qualifications

7+ years’ of experience engaging and working with cross-functional enterprise level software development projects using Agile development methodologies such as Kanban or ScrumAdvanced experience working with Java and Spring BootKnowledge of microservices architectureRecent experience working with Kubernetes, Docker and public cloud deployment platforms such as GCPExperience working with continuous integration and continuous deliveryExperience with Git and its workflowsExperience with relational and non-relational databases such as MySQL and MongoDB

Preferred Qualifications

Proficient with CQRS patternExperience developing and deploying multi-tenant Identity solutions in the cloudExperience building event-driven, reactive microservices with Kafka StreamsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage and balance multiple deliverables concurrently in an environment with shifting prioritiesSelf-motivated, continuous improvement mindset and willing to get the job done
