Summary:

The Vice President of Sales is responsible for spearheading every aspect of Qmulos sales efforts. This position is responsible for profitable sales growth and the gross margin strategy. The focus is to set and deliver profitability goals, optimization, and client-focused sales strategies. Regional Sales Managers covering all territories report directly to this role. Success in this role is driven by the execution of sales strategies in accordance with client demand, market trends, brand direction, and fiscal accountability possessing a consistent drive for results that ensures maximum sales and gross margin performance.

Responsibilities:

Directs and develops sales strategy, operational plans, tactics, and processes that will drive revenue growth and accomplish financial objectives.Formulates and delivers a profitable strategic sales roadmap for all industry channels of business.Oversees the accuracy and execution of monthly and annual sales plans to achieve budgeted sales goals.Builds effective sales and support teams with recruiting, mentoring, and development programs.Develops strategies to deliver financial plans monthly, quarterly, and annually outlining projected goals by analyzing sales and product demand through sustainable action plans.Creates and implements capabilities to analyze the business environment, identify and understand competitors, and retain and expand the customer base.Establishes and implements processes, tools, and structures to support the sales organization's operations.Oversees the development and negotiation of contracts and other pricing agreements with both new and existing customers, as required.Evaluates and oversees the sales operations infrastructure, ensuring commitments are met internally and externally.Builds and matures robust networks of committed relationships that create long-lasting partnerships with our clients at various levels.Leverages sales analytics to identify opportunities within target verticals and the industry.Participates and initiates customer visits, quarterly QBR’s, and be a conduit for escalations and issues resolution.Uses market and customer insights to collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and suggest new products and execute strategic plans.Oversees goal setting to develop targets for departmental levels of the sales organization and uses data and technology to measure and monitor sales processes, identify issues, and enhance performance.Work cross-functionally with other BU’s (Product Delivery, Partner, Development, Marketing, Strategy) leadership to ensure optimization and collaboration drives company product sales.Supervisory Responsibilities:

Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff.Oversees the daily workflow of the department.Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.Required Qualifications:

Able to legally work in the US.Bachelor’s degree required.Preferred Qualifications:

10+ years of experience in leading sales strategy with enterprise IT software solutions (BI, data analytics, security software, IT compliance and risk management software).Deep compliance background with the understanding of various frameworks and special publications (i.e. SP 800-53, SP 800-171, CMMC).Have worked closely with ISSO’s, ISSM’s, IA professionals.Splunk Experience (Highly Preferred).Trusted Advisor status to Executive and C-Level customers.Deep experience in contract and buying cycles within the public and private Sector.Consultative sales experience targeting relevant companies/businesses to help them to think differently about Data, especially when it impacts Risk Visibility and Management.Highly motivated and professional, with excellent verbal, communication, presentation and social skills.A rational, logical and analytical thinker.You have shown strong technical aptitude and are passionate about technology sales.Excellent listening skills with the ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks to meet deadlines.Self-starter able to work independently but also as a member of a team.Excellent conflict resolution skills.
