We are looking for a leader who can uphold our high standards of care while driving innovation and growth in our practice.As Medical Director, you will oversee all medical aspects of our hospital, including general practice and urgent care services. WHAT WE OFFER:Competitive Salary ($180,000 - $250,000 per year)Production Bonus PayRelocation Assistance availableMedical/Dental/Vision insurancePaid Time OffContinuing Education time off and reimbursementEmployee Referral ProgramFinancial Wellness Program401K + company matchPaid license fees, VIN/Plumbs membership, and Liability InsuranceCORE RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS:Works with Associate DVMs, Hospital Manager and clinical teammates to ensure best clinical practices and high-quality medical care are being provided at the hospitalFosters a positive, healthy hospital culture, both through leading by example and by guiding the team through active feedback and managed accountabilitySupports excellence in client experience, working with DVMs and Hospital Manager to address issues and promote training as neededProvide guidance to Associate DVMs and clinical staff on clinical outcomes and best practices.Manage DVM schedules and recruitment needs in coordination with the Hospital Manager and Operations.Participate in operational and financial calls to address hospital issues, identify growth opportunities, support responsible hospital management and investment decisions.Assist in attracting and retaining new DVMs while developing ongoing training programs.Contribute to regular doctor meetings and ensure adherence to high clinical standards.Works collaboratively with HM and Regional Operations Director to proactively identify opportunities for growth and improvement of the hospital as well as clinical training for teamCOMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE:Valid and in good standing licensed veterinarian within the state of CaliforniaRequisite clinical privileges and DEA license3-5 years of clinical experiencePrior Medical Director experience, preferredStrong clinical skills and sound medical judgmentAbility and desire to mentor and develop Associate DVM clinical skills, preferredExceptional communication skills, both written and verbalExcellent time-management and delegation abilitiesExercises sound judgment and demonstrates exemplary decision-making skillsProfessionalism and courtesy in all interactions with othersApply today!
