Tesla is currently seeking a highly motivated IT Asset Management Administrator to join our team onsite at Gigafactory Texas. The IT Asset Management Administrator will provide essential behind-the-scenes support to contribute to the success of the IT Operations team, with a mission to optimize the utilization of Tesla's IT assets. This role will work closely with fellow team members and various other IT staff to ensure proper management of the asset lifecycle at Tesla. The Administrator must have a strong understanding of asset management disciplines and experience working in a fast-paced corporate environment.
Responsibilities
Monitor asset data integrity and accuracy within the IT Asset Management databaseAssist with inbound and outbound IT equipment flow activities and procure IT hardwareAnalyze and process data to ensure proper stock levels are maintainedManage, maintain, and audit IT hardware inventory levels across multiple stockroomsAssist with the logistics of IT hardware across several locationsDocument and refine asset lifecycle processesPartner with other teams to ensure compliance with asset management best practices and policiesRequirements
Physically able to stand, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift up to 50 lbsAbility to navigate ambiguity, work independently under pressure, prioritize tasks, excellent customer service and stay focused in a fast-paced environmentExperience with IT Ticketing and Asset Management applications like ServiceNow ITSM, BMC Remedy ITSM, or other similar products preferredGeneral knowledge of various types of IT hardwarePrior Asset Management experience is requiredStrong ability to analyze data with in-depth knowledge of the IT asset lifecycleRequires 2-4 years of experience in an IT Operations roleCompensation and BenefitsBenefits
