Shipping & Receiving Coordinator

Join our team as a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator. The primary role of this position is to administer and transact in a timely and accurate manner all shipping and receiving documents and process flow. The Coordinator ensures all material and products are properly monitored and accounted for. A successful candidate is a detail oriented, customer service focused, problem solver with the ability to handle assignments efficiently and accurately with little supervision.ResponsibilitiesAssist with import and export dutiesAssist with receiving itemsCreating bills of lading, packing lists, and other shipping documents for all shipmentsCreating and updating receiving reports through Excel and OracleLoad and unload trailers.Desired ExperienceHigh School Diploma or equivalent/ Associate degree or better preferredForklift experience preferred but not required.Previous experience with 3PL organizationsPrevious exposure to logistics and transportation processes and practicesProficient in Microsoft Office Suite and OracleKnowledgeable of good safety practices and quality standardsCompetenciesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to communicate with individuals at all levels of the organizationExcellent attention to detail and quality with accuracy in their workSelf-motivated, self-directed self-starter willing to accept responsibility for resultsDemonstrates a clear understanding of policies and procedures of operation; complies with and appliespolicies and procedures appropriatelyAssesses situations accurately and determines appropriate actionTakes ownership for own self-developmentWork EnvironmentMust be able and comfortable to work in a heavy-industrial environmentMust be able to walk to work locations 100% of the timeMust be able to frequently bend, stoop, kneel and reach below/above shouldersMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassistedRegularly required to stand, walk, talk, see, hear, reach, bend, and stoop.
