Cozen O'Connor is seeking an attorney for our Subrogation & Recovery Department with a minimum of three years litigation experience to join our dynamic team in any location where we have an office. We will also consider candidates working remotely in New York State, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Texas. This is an exceptional opportunity to work with a prestigious firm known for its expertise in litigation. Responsibilities include representing corporate clients in Federal and State Courts, handling civil actions related to property damage; collaborating with a variety of forensic experts to investigate and evaluate the legal and financial viability of different causes of action in both single and multi-party litigation; drafting pleadings, discovery requests, discovery responses, motions, and briefs; preparing for, attending, and presenting at court hearings; taking and defending deposition; and maintaining effective communication with clients and opposing counsel. Excellent academic credentials demonstrating strong legal aptitude expected. Strong written and verbal communication skills required. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
