Ascension Global Staffing & Executive Search seeks a transactional/corporate/tax attorney with 2 to 7 years of M&A experience for its client's Sarasota, FL office. Qualified candidates should have substantial corporate transactional experience, including managing due diligence, structuring and documenting complex acquisition transactions. Estate planning or probate experience is a plus.
Education, Experience And Skills Required
Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law schoolFlorida bar license (or ability to take the Florida bar exam in the next year)LL.M. in Taxation or CPA preferred, but not essential2+ years’ law practice experienceStrong technological skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and practice management systems, portals and technologiesSuperior research skills, including the use of online services, databases and the InternetSuperior organizational skillsProject management skills including a strong aptitude for managing and prioritizing multiple projects and deadlinesExcellent written and verbal communication skills as well as analytical, problem solving and decision making skillsAbility to work independently and maintain a high degree of confidentiality
