$60,000 - $70,000 (commensurate with experience)

Legal researchAnalyze and summarize evidenceDraft legal memoranda, recommendations, proposed orders, and decisions for CommissionersAnswer legal and procedural questions posed by Commissioners, staff, and the publicAssist with oral argumentsRespond to inquiries from the parties and the publicQualifications
All you need for success:
Licensed to practice law in the state of Missouri*Member of The Missouri Bar in good standing*Familiarity with Missouri administrative law and processApplications from law school graduates who are sitting for the 2024 Missouri Bar examination will be considered for employment contingent on passing that examination and Fall 2024 admission to The Missouri Bar in good standing.Desired Attributes
Prior knowledge of Missouri workers’ compensation and/or unemployment law preferredExcellent legal research and writing skillsHigh level of professionalism and good judgmentTrustworthy with confidential informationEffective time management skills and ability to prioritize projectsEnjoy writingSelf-motivation, critical thinking, and creativityAbility to learn and effectively utilize computer software, including Westlaw, Microsoft 365, and Adobe AcrobatMore Reasons To Love This Position
