Job Title: Assembler Job Description We are looking for an Assembler to join our team. This role involves working with a partner to handle various assembly tasks in a fast-paced environment. The position requires repetitive lifting and handling of metal plates, as well as using hand and power tools. Responsibilities Work with sheet metal plates using a tape gun to hold units together. Work with a partner on the opposite end of the table to gasket each plate. Build up to gasketting 400 plates per shift. Train on the stacker machine, requiring repetitive lifting of plates overhead. Assemble sub-components and finished products using hand and power tools. Fit metal products together using hand and power tools. Operate an overhead crane to move larger units. Review assembly diagrams to determine parts and quantities needed. Maintain a fast-paced production and assembly line. Lift and fit products together, handling weights of 60lbs+. Work collaboratively with a team member to fulfill product orders daily. Essential Skills Experience with hand and power tools. Ability to read and interpret assembly diagrams and blueprints. Experience operating an overhead crane. Mechanical aptitude. Ability to perform repetitive lifting and handle weights of 50lbs+. Comfortable with climbing, standing, walking, and extending arms for extended periods. Additional Skills & Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Ability to regularly walk, sit, and reach for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
