mental health services to the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services.We are currently seeking a
full-time
Psychiatrist
to join our team at
Maryland Reception Diagnostic and Classification Center
located in
Baltimore, Maryland.Responsibilities:The
Psychiatrist
provides psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis and treatment for patients, works under the supervision of the Psychiatric Medical Director, and provides clinical leadership for a multidisciplinary team in providing mental health services to patients with psychiatric disorders or other mental health issues.Qualifications:Documentation of education as MD or DO and completion of accredited residency program requiredCurrent license to practice medicine in MarylandMust have and maintain an active, non-restricted Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration certificateMust be able to pass background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicableMinimum of two years' experience as a physician in a clinical setting; supervisory experience preferredExperience in a correctional health setting or institutional setting preferredAvailable Shift:DayshiftBenefits:We offer excellent compensation and comprehensive benefits for our full-time team members including:Health, dental, vision, disability and life insurance401(k) with company matchGenerous paid time offPaid holidaysFlexible Spending AccountContinuing Education benefitsMuch more...
