Job DescriptionMake a difference in the lives of students with a rewarding full-time school-based Physical Therapy position for the 2024-25 school year!
Job Highlights:
Evaluate students' motor skills, strength, range of motion, and functional abilities to develop personalized therapy plans.Implement therapeutic interventions designed to meet the unique needs of each student, facilitating physical health and mobility.Collaborate with school staff, including special education personnel, to integrate physical therapy with educational objectives.Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, providing expert recommendations to support student goals.Educate school staff and families on strategies to support the physical development and health of students.Maintain accurate documentation of student assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and other required reports.Requirements
Valid Illinois license to practice Physical Therapy.Terminal degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.Experience in pediatric or school-based physical therapy is preferred.Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
