Mission or Goal of Unit: The mission of the Department of Radiology is tocreate a world-class department by providing optimal care in a patient-centeredenvironment, providing sub-specialty expertise, providing top quality imagingand therapeutic procedures, and to advance medical education and research, witha vision to create a department that is recognized as top tier nationally andinternationally.Chief Purpose of this position: The Department of Radiology seeks a candidate to provide general diagnostic radiology imaginginterpretation, including conventional radiographs, CT, US, and MR with the useof state-of-the-art equipment.Position Responsibilities: Clinical - Provide high quality imaging interpretations for assigned modalities in support of the referring physicians and patients of the VCUHS.
