Lake Geneva Animal Hospital, a CareVet partner, has an awesome opportunity to join our busy, six-doctor practice in Lake Geneva, WI. This small animal practice is looking for a dynamic full time Veterinarian to be part of a collaborative and tenured team! This position offers six figure salary plus production, a generous bonus package, paid family leave and schedule flexibility.

About the Hospital

This six-doctor practice has an extremely loyal client base and offers high level services such as acupuncture, dentistry, laser therapy, cancer treatment, ophthalmology, stem cell therapy, specialty soft tissue and orthopedic surgery. The hospital and equipment and top notch and is an excellent place for a new grad to be mentored by a passion team of experienced doctors, or for an experienced veterinarian to augment their surgical skills.

Examine animals to assess their health and diagnose problemsTreat and dress woundsPerform surgery on animalsTest for and vaccinate against diseasesOperate medical equipment, such as x-ray machinesAdvise animal owners about general care, medical conditions, and treatmentsPrescribe medicationWork closely in collaboration with team members to provide high quality careQualifications

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree requiredLicensure in the state/s candidate will be workingAbility to show compassion to both pets and their ownersOutstanding dexterity in handling animals while performing precise tasksAbility to react quickly and make decisions under pressure about the wellbeing of an animalStrong fondness and understanding of animalsGood communication and interpersonal skillsKnowledge of animal behaviorAbility to use medical technologies during diagnosis, research and surgery of animals
