A specialty healthcare network in New York City is currently seeking a new Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and/or licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join their growing team in Manhattan. In this role, the Staff Nurse (LPN / RN) will be responsible for providing full time nursing support services to the Allergy Physician.
Responsibilities:
The Staff Nurse (LPN / RN) will:Performing allergy testingPulmonary function testingAdministering allergy injectionsMonitoring for anaphylaxisPatient educationDocumenting care in our EMR systemObtaining authorizationsPerforming other duties, as neededQualifications:
Graduate of an accredited School of NursingNYS Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and/or licensed Registered Nurse (RN)Comfortable working with all ages from infant to geriatricComputer savvyPatient orientedSolid assessment, clinical, and documentation skillsGreat interpersonal skillsExcellent communication skills (written and verbal)Strong attention to detailHighly organized
