OverviewLMI seeks a Supply Technician to support the U.S. Border Patrol Headquarters located in the National Capital Region. Join our team of collaborative self-starters focused on delivering practical and efficient solutions to help our client keep U.S. borders safe and facilitate trade and travel. As part of our high-performing team, you will augment our vital work to provide “eyes and ears” technology to protect our nation.

This position is located in Washington, D.C. and cannot be performed remotely.

Occasional travel may be required.

Responsibilities

Shipping and receiving of goods.

Issuance and tracking of government property.

Provide asset management and accountability support.

Conduct physical inventories and adjust and maintain inventory, stock, and property account records.

Receive and update property records in SAP.

Screen excess assets for reutilization, sales, or disposal within the Border Patrol, CBP, DHS and government-wide enterprises.

Occasional driving of a government vehicle.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Proven experience as a Supply Technician or in a similar role.

Ability to pass a government background investigation, including financial, criminal, residential, educational, foreign affiliation, prohibited substance abuse, and employment verifications.

Active U.S. Customs and Border Protection background investigation preferred.

Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite.

Experience with SAP is desirable.

Physically capable of lifting 25 lbs.

Ability to communicate clearly with a variety of stakeholders.

Customer service skills.

A true team player who maintains a positive attitude in a dynamic environment.
