Overview:
Respiratory TherapistSleep LabMoline, ILNights, 7p-7am(3) 12 hour shifts (12% shift differential 6p-6am)We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to join our Sleep Lab team. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating patients with sleep disorders, including sleep apnea. Your responsibilities will include conducting sleep studies, monitoring patients during sleep, and providing therapeutic interventions.Responsibilities:Key Responsibilities:Conduct overnight polysomnography (PSG) studies to assess sleep patterns and respiratory function.Set up and calibrate sleep monitoring equipment.Monitor patients during sleep studies, observing for any abnormalities or disruptions.Collaborate with physicians to develop treatment plans for patients with sleep disorders.Educate patients on proper use of continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) devices.Maintain accurate records and documentation.
Qualifications:Registered or registry eligible Respiratory Therapist or Neurodiagnostic Technologist. Specialized Training in Polysomnography testing.Why UnityPoint Health?Commitment to our Team
