leadership team, collaborating with the Dean, faculty, and staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality educational programs. They are responsible for the strategic planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of the academic curriculum and policies, faculty affairs and development, veterinary student affairs and assessment for the
CVM . The Associate Dean will work in conjunction with the Dean to ensure that the colleges vision, strategic direction, and priorities are implemented effectively.Required Qualifications*a
DVM
degree (or equivalent); *three (3) years prior experience in a high-level administrative or supervisory role in a veterinary medical college; *five (5) years of experience in a veterinary medical academic environment with an understanding of the academic environment and curriculum development.Preferred Qualifications*Advanced degree and/or specialty board certification; *successful background in course, curricular or academic program development; *expertise in managing a complex budget and staff, faculty, and student workers; *experience with Team-based Learning.Physical DemandsCampusJob DutyJob DutyCurriculum Development: Lead the development and enhancement of the veterinary curriculum, ensuring alignment with accreditation standards and industry best practices.Job DutyAcademic Program Management: Oversee all aspects of academic programs, including scheduling, faculty assignments, student progress tracking, and academic advising. Oversee the planning, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of all

admissions process in conjunction with the Director of AdmissionsJob DutyBudget and Resource Management: Develop and manage the academic affairs budget and allocate resources effectively.Job DutyManagement of Faculty and Staff: Manage faculty and staff in the academic affairs department, including recruitment, development, and evaluation.Job DutyAssessment: Provide strategic leadership and oversight to the Outcomes and Assessment Office. Coordinate the development and implementation of teaching assessment and improvement programs, student assessment and academic interventions.
