Position OverviewFinance & Strategy
is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the Financial Operations team to support the Record to Report function.
Position DescriptionUnderstands and applies accounting principles, processes, and practicesAct as Subject Matter Expert for CAPEX and Capitalized Software accounting and Oracle Cloud Fusion Projects moduleAbility to analyze complex accounting transactions and prepare related journal entries to support the period-end closeAble to complete Balance Sheet account analysis and roll forwards of account activitiesAble to analyze, reconcile and resolve differences in transactions related to intercompany activity (identify differences, prepare correcting journal entries, drive follow-up actions to completion)Able to perform variance analysis for comparative periods in balance sheet and P&L accountsProvide oversight and review balance sheet reconciliations, entries and period-end closing tasks of Business Process Outsourcing team membersDrives to understand and interpret business needsStrengthens and maintains efficiency of the accounting function through review of processes and procedures and implementation of process improvementsMakes recommendations to improve processes and process documentationPreparation of working papers and supporting documentation for external and internal audit reviewsAble to work and prepare files with high volume of transactions and different sources of informationQualificationsPosition RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance (Required)Advanced fluency in English5-7 years of Accounting experience, including experience as a senior accountantStrong understanding of Accounting PrinciplesOracle Cloud Fusion experience preferredAbility to make sound decisions based on data and analysisInnovative problem solving skillsDetail Orientated with strong analytical skills & proactive profileAbility to work independently and as a part of a teamAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft ExcelExcellent verbal and written communication skillsCWT
