Would you like to be a part of a dynamic team, leading change through systems and process modernization? The Disability Insurance Branch (DIB) is looking a Research Data Specialist II (RDS II) to join our Workload Optimization Division (“Command Center”) Team.
The RDS II position plays a vital role in supporting DIB management and staff performing complex technical research and data analysis projects for the Branch. The RDS II also leads department-wide initiatives; and collaborating with other departments. The RDS II must be able to work independently as well as in a group environment in providing expert consultative services to DIB management and staff, other stakeholders, informing of pertinent issues and proposing corrective courses of action as needed. The RDS II must have exceptional organizational and writing skills and be able to establish and nurture collaborative relationships with internal and external entities to build, monitor and manage complex projects through their lifecycles.
About the Branch: The DIB administers the State Disability Insurance program, which includes Disability Insurance, Paid Family Leave, Non-Industrial Disability Insurance for state employees, and voluntary plans. The program covers 18 million workers, and provides financial stability to workers and their families in times of need. We strive to deliver timely benefit payments and quality service to all of our customers.
