DevOps Engineer - AWS

As our client's Senior DevOps Engineer, you will manage core systems for SaaS, Fintech, ETL pipelines, CI/CD, and more. Most importantly you will help us grow and improve automation for developers, site reliability, and information security. The company highly values collaboration and thus this role will be local to NYC and will be in the office roughly 3 days a week. They are hoping to meet candidates in-person during the interviews as well.Our client is a hyper-growth SaaS company based in NYC. They have recently raised a Series A round of funding and are hiring aggressively.You will:Scale applications to support dynamic teams in a fast-paced, flexible environmentBuild and implement automated workflows to enable engineers to self-service their infrastructure and deployment needsEnable our engineering team to use new technologies in a scalable, reliable, and highly available wayIdentify and drive initiatives to increase productivity through automation and integrationsIncorporate performance monitoring and tooling into deployment and workflow automationMitigate information security concerns before they arisePerform SaaS, and financial application risk assessments and develop risk maps to ensure users and data are protectedBuild next-generation tooling involving cutting-edge technologies and entirely cloud-native solutions.Partner with the CTO to deploy seamless infrastructure and code solutionsManage privacy, identity, and security for the core platformQualifications3+ years of hands-on work with deployment systems, containers, monitoring, and alertingExperience with a major cloud provider, preferably AWSExperience with Docker or KubernetesYou want to be on a small, fast-paced team that nimbly moves to meet new challengesYou care about product ownership and solving complex problems for our customersData migration, transformation, and ETL systems experience is a plusHuge benefit if you have experience building SaaS or Fintech products
