Overview
Locana, recently acquired by TRC, is looking for an experienced Principal GIS Consultant to join its leadership team and support the development and execution of industry-leading solutions for some of North America's largest electric and gas utilities. In this role, you will work directly with our customers, our technical teams, and industry partners to position for, respond to, and deliver solutions. This role requires travel up to 50%, otherwise this person can work from most locations across the US.
Responsibilities
Leading the implementation of geospatial solutions; from initial strategy to deliveryWorking in collaboration with customers, team members, and partners to develop and deliver technology roadmaps, requirements analysis, and project planningAssembling and leading pursuit teams responding to RFPs - define WBS, scope, schedule, cost, pricing, and teaming partners/subsIdentifying gaps in the market, new technology, and trends that present opportunities for Locana to pursue new businessInfluencing and fostering strong relationships with our customersMentoring team members and supporting them in career aspirations
Qualifications
10+ years related experienceExperience implementing GIS solutions and functional knowledge of leading-edge Esri ArcGIS technology (ArcGIS Pro, Enterprise, Mobile tools)Ability to translate business requirements into proposed technical solutionsExperience managing project teams and the application of project methodologies and toolsStrong client-facing communication and presentation skills with the ability to proactively engage customers and guide them through clear, concise communication techniquesAbility to build and maintain strong customer relationshipsStrong knowledge of project management, including WBS definition, scope, schedule, cost, and pricingAbility to travel up to 50%A successful candidate for this position can design and implement a successful project and understands how their work impacts the client's people, processes, and technology to ensure projects have a positive impact and widespread adoption. They work to build a long-term relationship with customers and continually look for opportunities where adding technology can enrich the customer's operations and experience.

Compensation :
In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.

Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
