GIS SPecialist
to join our Integrity Engineering Services team to assist in the design, development, and implementation of integrity management programs for pipeline networks and facilities.The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a related field. Hazardous Liquids and Gas Pipeline industry experience and previous experience working with GIS data are both highly desired not required.Responsibilities:Assist with written pipeline and facilities integrity program developmentDevelop written Operations and Maintenance (O-M) processDevelop written Damage Prevention and Operator Qualification programsDevelop written Safety Management Systems programsPrepare technical reports and assist with proposal developmentWork closely with customers to ensure projects exceed expectations and requirementsWork seamlessly with internal teams and assist other groups as neededQualifications:
Proficient with ArcGIS ProExperience with air dispersion modeling and analysis, preferably using Canary and/or CHARM (PHAST is also an option)Knowledge of 49 CFR 192 and 195Python programming experience is a plusBS/BA degree (any field)Excellent technical writing skillsExcellent communication skills both written and verbalDetail-oriented and committed to delivering quality work with minimum oversightStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to travel as needed, estimated 10%Microsoft Word, Visio, ExcelPreferred Skills (Desired not Required):2-3 years of Integrity Engineering experience or Hazardous Liquids and Gas Pipeline experienceWorking knowledge of pipeline standards and regulations including ASME B31.4 and B31.8 as well as 49 CFR Parts 192 and 195Experience working on MAOP CalculationsEfficient in MS OfficeGeographic Information System (GIS) Software (ArcGIS, QGIS)Database Experience (Oracle, SQL Server, SSMS, PL/SQL Developer, Access)TRC offers advancement potential and a competitive compensation and benefits package including a 401k plan with a company match.
