Procurement Analyst I

Responsible for obtaining needed medical information such as itemizations or medical records required to render a claim process-able for various Enhanced Bill Review Programs.This is an onsite position.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:Ensures 80-85% of days shift spent on contacting various providers to request needed information. (Outbound calls). Handles some outbound email or fax requestsHandles inbound calls (queries) for status in general on claims they initiated contactResponsible for maintaining an accurate accounting of communication between CorVel and the provider as well as with the referring client where applicableResponsible for ensuring all documentation received is complete and accurate via utilization of Quality Assurance protocols in placeCommunicates with respective Lead/Supervisor or Manager on any issues or problems if neededMaintain HIPAA compliance in all aspects of communicationsPunctual and consistent attendance requiredMaintains production standards and production requirementsAssist co-workers, supervisor or management to accomplish product goals and reports any potential issues in a pro-active mannerAdditional duties as assigned, not excluding providing assistance in training of new incoming employeesProvides general supportKNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:Great phone etiquetteData Entry experience helpfulProficient in Microsoft Office applicationsDetail OrientedExceptional organizational skillsThe ability to work independentlyThe ability to work in a fast paced/production environmentEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:High school diploma or equivalent6 months to 1 year office experienceOutbound call center experience helpfulPAY RANGE:CorVel uses a market based approach to pay and our salary ranges may vary depending on your location. Pay rates are established taking into account the following factors: federal, state, and local minimum wage requirements, the geographic location differential, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, internal employee equity, and market conditions. Our ranges may be modified at any time.For leveled roles (I, II, III, Senior, Lead, etc.) new hires may be slotted into a different level, either up or down, based on assessment during interview process taking into consideration experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role.
