The Procurement Team Lead position is 50% production and 50% assisting and supporting direct supervisor with ensuring their team meets protocol, as well as, performing supervisor duties if and when the supervisor is out.This is an in-office role.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:Monitor/Audit and report Both Aging Reports for Procurement and HumanaMonitor/Audit files in Procurement staffs individual Queues via Management Console Tool for accuracy and timely claim processingWork through Procurement QC Queue assisting to maintain when Queue is over 2 pagesAssist Reps with all questions and concernsAnswer emails from both Procurement and other internal departments and also externally from Clients/Providers in reference to any concerns to complete the processing of claimsAnswer phone calls from both internal departments and externally from Providers in reference to any concerns to complete the processing of claimsRequires regular and consistent attendance, complying with the company Employee handbook requirements for attendanceComply with all safety rules and regulations during work hours in conjunction with the Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP)Additional duties as required by manager or supervisorThis is an in-office position providing hands on support and directions for immediate team.KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:Exceptional organizational skillsAbility to work independentlyAbility to work in a fast paced/production environmentProvide QC to handles claims within the dept. / correct when applicableEffective and professional communication skillsAbility to search / find answersDemonstrated problem solving skills and analytical skillAbility to demonstrate leadership abilities, independent thinkingProficient in Microsoft Office applicationsThe ability to work in a fast paced/production environmentEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:High school diploma or equivalent6 months to 1 year office experienceMinimum one year as Procurement AnalystPAY RANGE:CorVel uses a market based approach to pay and our salary ranges may vary depending on your location. Pay rates are established taking into account the following factors: federal, state, and local minimum wage requirements, the geographic location differential, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, internal employee equity, and market conditions. Our ranges may be modified at any time.For leveled roles (I, II, III, Senior, Lead, etc.) new hires may be slotted into a different level, either up or down, based on assessment during interview process taking into consideration experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role.
