For more information click on our E-Verify Website .Requisition No: 634390Agency: Florida LegislatureWorking Title: Senior IT Auditor (Auditor General)General SummaryA Senior IT Auditor performs responsible, professional work in conducting information technology (IT) audits at State agencies, educational entities, and local governmental units.Examples of Work PerformedConducts IT audits or other IT engagements at State agencies, educational entities, and local governmental units, including, but not limited to, the development of the audit plan and audit program, the coordination of the audit team work assignments, the supervision and review of the audit team’s work, the review and evaluation of automated systems and internal controls, necessary testing, and other related procedures.Compiles general statistical data.Monitors critical information technology projects as required by law.Determines extent of compliance with applicable law, established policies, plans, and procedures.Prepares reports recommending improvements in accounting methods, information systems, program operations, and internal and other management controls.Prepares recommendations for reporting suggested changes to statutory and budgetary requirements.Meets with governmental officials to discuss audit findings and recommendations.Assists in the instruction, training, and supervision of subordinate auditors.Assigns work to subordinate auditors and reviews their work.Assists in preparing audit programs and developing audit procedures.Performs other related duties as required.
