Accountant Associate - RemoteJob Description
The Associate Accountant is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day routine maintenance of complete and accurate Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger accounts and in preparing basic financial reports.Responsibilities
Support assigned month end and year end accounting close proceduresCreate standard support schedules and prepare balance sheet reconciliationsCalculate accrual entries and complete timely and accurate general ledger entriesAssist team members with analysis projectsOther duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting or related area of study or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience; HS diploma or GED is requiredMust be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorshipAdditional Qualifications
Basic level knowledge of Excel (including detailed understanding of v-lookups, pivot tables and formulas) and WordBasic accounting, GAAP and FASB knowledgePreferred Qualifications
Experience with database tools: general ledger, fixed asset and accounting softwareBasic level knowledge of PowerPointMinimum Physical Job Requirements
Constantly required to sit, use hands to handle or feel, talk and hearFrequently required to reach with hands and armsOccasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, and crouchOccasionally required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 poundsSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focusReporting Structure
Reports to Sr Professional, Manager, or Director in Finance departmentPotential pay for this position ranges from $24.86 - $37.07 based on experience and skills.
