The Pre-lit Attorney will be responsible for managing a team of experienced case managers as well as managing a variety of personal injury cases in the pre-litigation stages.Responsibilities include:Manage pre-litigation for assigned cases from intake to settlement.Assist with case evaluation, case strategy, medical management to increase case value and obtain maximum settlement for clients.Manage file handlers and legal assistants ensuring that all cases are smoothly moving along.Provide excellent service to all clients.Skills & Requirements:Qualified candidate will have a CA license and 1-2+ years of Personal Injury legal experience.Litigation experience is NOT required for this role.Excellent research and writing skills are required.Must be familiar with reading medical reports and bills.Ideal candidate will have experience with serious injury cases.Bilingual in Spanish a plus.We offer an excellent compensation package including:Guaranteed Competitive pay plan, unlimited earning potential.Proficiency/performance bonus.401K80 hours of vacation the first year of employmentPaid Holidays.Medical, dental, vision and life insurance.Supplemental insurance.Opportunity for advancement.At BD&J, we have a clear vision: to be the place where a diverse mix of talented people want to come, stay and do their best work.
