The Senior Sales Executive Role is responsible for building key customer relationships, identifying sales opportunities, negotiating, and closing sales deals for enterprise and independent sales opportunities.
The Senior Sales Executive Role will create persuasive approaches and pitches that will convince potential clients. The Senior Sales Executive will qualify, contact, and convert prospects (inbound sales inquiries and proactively through outbound sales) and work closely with sales team to drive potential client acquisitions. The enterprise sales role will use other channels like cross-selling through other B2B business units and networking as well as potentially cold calling and strategic partnerships.
In addition, the Senior Sales Executive will need to be able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, providing thought leadership and acting as the lead facilitator/collaborator. This Sales Executive interacts with all leadership teams to coordinate new customer acquisitions and new customer software implementations. We expect the Senior Sales Executive to learn the platform (All aspects of the platform and how it can be used by potential clients), perform software demos and coordinate with contracts, finance (Billing) and implementation teams.

You are proficient at making presentations on solutions & services that meet or predict the prospects’ needs
You are good at creating added value for the prospect
You are flexible in handling objections by clarifying, emphasizing and working to a positive conclusion (closing!)
You are good at choosing the right approaches and pitches
You are experienced in forecasting sales targets and ensuring they are met
You know how to present to and consult with senior level management on business trends with a view to developing new services and sales channels
You will have monthly meetings with senior level management and report out on sales targets and metrics
You will work with marketing staff to ensure that they are targeting quality prospects
You understand the importance of getting on the right vendor lists
You will make it your lasting mission to ensure all team members represent the company in the best light
You will research and develop a thorough understanding of capabilities and tone of voice
Innovation & Strategy
Provide thought leadership to product development and operational excellence for Pathway deployments
Effective communication of operations directions, capabilities, initiatives, and innovations to the other members of the leadership team
Provide guidance on new processes, approaches, methods and features
Assist in the development of business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for initiatives
Budget/Financial P&L / Contractual negotiation responsibilities:
Be involved in or co-ordinate discussions/negotiations with third party suppliers as dictated by deliverable requirements.
Assist with developing yearly budgets/sales targets within the Operations department
Aid in the development of productivity measures and costing strategies.
Be involved in or co-ordinate discussions/negotiations with third party suppliers as dictated by deliverable requirements.
