Applications Engineer (Entry-Level)

We are the Customer Success team that ensures successful new product and technology transitions with our customer teams. You will have the opportunity to work with the latest storage technologies while interfacing with a wide array of internal teams.About the role - you will:Drive all technical aspects of our customer qualification engagementsReplicate, analyze, and develop solutions in concert with internal engineering teams to address customer issuesRun tests in customer environment to validate drive/system compatibilityAssist in post-qualification customer technical issuesCreate and present technical information to internal teamsWork with customer account team to solidify feedback into future product requirements.Coordinate activities of other organizations to ensure customer deliverables meet the customer expectations.About you:You will have a demonstrated ability to work across multiple organizations to achieve deadlines and customer satisfactionYou will have a high level of personal follow through on commitmentsAbility to work flexible hours to support our worldwide customers, factories, and design centersDemonstrated effective written and oral communication skills that develop trust between Seagate and its customers.Demonstrated passion for continuous improvementYour experience includes:Demonstrated experience testing and resolving concurrent, complex highly technical issuesProject management and tracking experienceBachelor’s degree in an engineering, data science/analytics, or related discipline or equivalent experienceYou might also have:Experience dealing with external customer or supplierProgramming experienceExperience with SATA, SAS, and NVMe interfaces and bus analyzersStorage system level experienceLocation:Shakopee, MN or Longmont, CO
