SkyWater is searching for a Data Analyst who is familiar with the semiconductor industry and has experience with foundry operations and CMOS technology in both bulk silicon and SOI. The ideal candidate will have an analytical mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and proficiency in root cause analysis. Knowledge of JMP and other statistical analysis software is essential.
Responsibilities:
Data Analysis: Perform detailed data analysis to support manufacturing and process improvement initiatives within the semiconductor foundry.Root Cause Analysis: Identify and investigate the root causes of process deviations and defects using statistical methods and analytical tools based on Fab data, ETest data, defects data, yield, etc.Process Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven solutions aimed at improving yield, quality, and efficiency.Statistical Modeling: Utilize JMP, payphone, SQL query, data visualization tools such as Tableau and other statistical software to create and validate predictive models that drive process optimization.Predictive Analysis: Use predictive modeling, statistics, machine learning, data mining, and other data analysis techniques to collect, explore, and extract insights from manufacturing process data.Reporting: Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and present findings to stakeholders.Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of analysis processes, methodologies, and findings to ensure reproducibility and knowledge sharing.Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in data science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.3+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the semiconductor industry or foundry business. Knowledge of process control methodologies and statistical process control (SPC).Proficiency in JMP, Python or R, MATLAB.Experience with machine learning algorithms and big data technologies.US Citizenship Required:
